Tag along with the little orphan who could in her musical’s latest revival for the 2024-2025 touring season! Presented by the acclaimed BJCC Concert Hall, Annie and her friends will play six days in Birmingham, Alabama, including this can’t-miss finale on Sunday, January 19th. Put a spring in that step, folks! Let’s get the adventure going!

All Annie ever wanted was a home she could call her own. A broken locket and a friendly stray might not seem much, but she has friends, too, in the orphanage, and they’re worth every cheerful ray of sunlight in the morning. Still, there’s a huge world of possibilities out there waiting, and her parents might be hiding just around the corner! And so, she goes. Join Annie in her search for lost family and discover how a bit of pluck and perseverance can go the distance. Leapin’ lizards, that’s a fact!

The BJCC Concert Hall’s brilliant lights will shine down on stunning setpieces, costumes, and actors, making this upcoming show pop into wonderfully colorful life. What about the music? Audiences can expect the classics, including “Tomorrow,” “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” and more, soaring through the rafters thanks to our venue’s exquisite acoustics.

Director Jenn Thompson, who played the role of Pepper in the musical’s Broadway debut, tells the tale of Annie with bright new determination in 24 cities nationwide. The production also brings back the original 1977 score composed by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin and book written by Thomas Meehan, both of which won a highly-coveted Tony Award.
